Three candidates for the civil service lost their lives as a result of flooding in the basement of Rau’s IAS Study Circle in Delhi. Two persons are being held by the authorities as they conduct a criminal investigation. A magistrate’s investigation was also mandated.
Following heavy rain in several areas of Delhi on Saturday, the basement of a building housing a coaching institution flooded, resulting in the deaths of three aspirants to the civil service. The event took place in the Old Rajinder Nagar neighbourhood at Rau’s IAS Study Circle.
Two persons were arrested in connection with the incident, and a criminal case was filed.
“We’ve filed a criminal complaint. We have forensic teams available. Forensic evidence gathering is now under place. We firmly believe that a thorough examination is necessary. Our goal is to establish a solid case and uncover the truth. According to senior police officer M Harshavardhan, two persons have been apprehended thus far.
