“Maharashtra on High Alert: PM Modi to Launch Palghar Projects and Address Fintech Leaders in Mumbai”
On Friday, August 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Maharashtra, where he will lay the foundation stone for many projects in Palghar, including the Vadhvan Port project. This project is expected to significantly boost maritime trade in the region, create thousands of jobs, and stimulate the local economy. Following the foundation-laying ceremony, Prime Minister Modi will attend the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, where he will deliver a keynote speech outlining his vision for India’s digital economy. The GFF is an annual event that brings together global leaders in the fintech industry to discuss innovations in financial technology, regulatory challenges, and the future of banking. During his speech, Prime Minister Modi is expected to announce new policies that will promote digital payments and financial inclusion, aiming to strengthen India’s position as a global leader in fintech.
वधावन बंदरगाह परियोजना क्या है?
महाराष्ट्र के पालघर जिले में दहानु शहर के पास स्थित वधावन बंदरगाह भारत के सबसे बड़े गहरे पानी के बंदरगाहों में से एक होगा और यह भारत की समुद्री कनेक्टिविटी को बढ़ाएगा और वैश्विक व्यापार केंद्र के रूप में अपनी स्थिति को और मजबूत करेगा। इस परियोजना की कुल लागत लगभग 76,000 करोड़ रुपये है।
बंदरगाह का उद्देश्य अंतर्राष्ट्रीय नौवहन मार्गों को सीधा संपर्क प्रदान करना, पारगमन समय और लागत को कम करना है। इससे रोजगार के महत्वपूर्ण अवसर पैदा होने, स्थानीय व्यवसायों को प्रोत्साहित करने और क्षेत्र के समग्र आर्थिक विकास में योगदान करने की भी उम्मीद है।
