After BJP MP Anurag Thakur made contentious comments on caste census at a Lok Sabha meeting on Tuesday, the opposition and the party engaged in a furious debate in the parliament.
Because of the fallout, there have been talks inside the Congress party about perhaps bringing a privilege move against Thakur. On Wednesday, his remarks caused a great deal of disruption to parliamentary business.
