Police Find Anti-Ageing, Skin Glow Medicines at Shefali Jariwala’s Home; Awaiting Post-Mortem Report
Mumbai Police on Monday revealed that they discovered two boxes of medications at the residence of actor Shefali Jariwala during their investigation into her sudden demise. The medications reportedly included anti-ageing and skin glow tablets and vials, such as Glutathione.
The police stated that Shefali had taken one of the vials on an empty stomach on the day of her death, as she was fasting. Doctors believe this may have caused a sudden drop in her blood pressure, potentially triggering cardiac arrest.
Officials said there were no immediate signs of foul play, but they are examining all possible angles related to her health, medications, and recent activities. The police have consulted with doctors and shared the list of medications recovered from her home.
The official cause of death will be confirmed after the post-mortem report is received.
Shefali Jariwala was found unconscious at her residence on the night of June 27. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, rushed her to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead.
Shefali was well-known for her iconic appearance in the 2000s hit song “Kaanta Laga” and participated in popular reality shows like Bigg Boss 13 and Nach Baliye.
